In the current academic job market, future faculty are finding that they must be able to demonstrate their teaching credentials in order to be considered for new positions. But showing search committees what kind of teacher you are is often difficult. Attend this series if you want to know:
What you should expect from the job search?
How you can document your teaching effectiveness?
How you can demonstrate your potential?
This series will ask you to describe what is unique about your teaching potential and demonstrated abilities and how you can present that description to search committees. You will have the opportunity to work on your own teaching statement, explore how to frame your student evaluations, review your curriculum vitae and discuss ways of present yourself beyond the CV.
