Vicki Gayfield

Title: Associate Director for Programming

Vicki Gayfield is the Associate Director of the IUPUI Ronald E. McNair Post-baccalaureate Achievement Program, a TRiO program funded by the U.S. Dept. of Education. The overall goal of the McNair Scholars program is to identify eligible undergraduate students with the potential and desire for graduate education and to provide them with a total educational experience. Vicki assists with encouraging, training, and counseling McNair Scholars to ultimately receive a Ph.D.

Vicki is a TRiO alumnus of the Indiana University Student Support Services Program. She also has past professional TRiO experience and has worked with numerous federal and state pre-college programs in Indiana. Vicki earned a baccalaureate degree and Master’s degrees in Higher Education Student Affairs and Counseling and Counselor Education from Indiana University. Since completing her licensure in school counseling; Vicki enjoys assisting students with career exploration & accomplishing their educational and personal goals. Vicki is an active member in the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., 2005-2006 Emerging Leader in the Mid-America Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel, an executive board member of the Indiana Chapter of the Mid-America Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel.
