
Title: Technology Support Specialist
Cho was born in Yangon (Rangoon), Burma (now known as Myanmar). Burma is located in SouthEast Asia, which stands between India and China.
Burma is a union of 135 ethnic groups with their own languages and dialects. The eight major nationalities are
1. KaChin,
2. KaYah,
3. KaYin,
4. Chin,
5. Mon,
6. BaMar,
7. RaKhine, and
8. Shan.
Burmese Language: Burmese Alphabet
People in Burma speak 111 languages. Majority of people from Burma speak the Burmese language. The Burmese alphabet consists of 33 consonants and a few of them are semi-vowels (like ‘y’ in English). Burmese vowels are not included in the Burmese alphabet. They stand-alone.
She relocated from Burma, SouthEast Asia to Indiana, United States in June 1996.
She completed her four years course of study in high school and received her Indiana Core 40 High School Diploma from Brownsburg High School on June 2nd, 2000 in Brownsburg, Indiana.
She was awarded the Certificate in “Applied Computer Science” from the Purdue University School of Computer and Information Science at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) on December 15th, 2003.
She earned her degree of Bachelor of Science in “Media Arts and Science” from the Indiana University School of Informatics at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) on May 9th, 2004. Her area of concentration was HTML, Web Design and Development.
She started working full-time as an Administrative Specialist in the Center for Research and Learning at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) from August 2005 to December 2007.
She now works full-time as a Technology Support Technician in the Center for Research and Learning at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
